The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of heroes who will split off from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

First, the team knows exactly where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan knows the region and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight players to form the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can anticipate discovering which players will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
