Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
